Ways of working and the team: You'll join a People & Talent team of seventeen based at our head office in Union - the team consists of People Partners/Advisors/Coordinators who support various business areas that operate across our UK portfolio, as well as specialists in Recruitment, L&D and Culture. We collaborate closely as a collective when it comes to systems, processes and policies - ensuring a seamless experience for our colleagues across the business, working four days a week from the office.
Job purpose: You'll be pivotal in optimising how we deliver People & Talent services at Bruntwood to ensure we deliver a seamless, brilliant experience for our colleagues. Managing a team of People & Talent Coordinators you will lead the design and improvement of our People systems, processes, and compliance frameworks. Your goal is to enhance our colleague experience by enabling self-serve, streamlining operations, creating seamless cyclical processes, measuring our service and ensuring we're always compliant.
Key experience we're looking for:
- Management experience (to effectively support the 3x People Coordinators)
- Experience developing HRIS capability - examples of system implementation experience would be a bonus
- Policy management and a solid understanding of employment law
- Project management experience - the ability to pull People teams together to achieve efficiencies and improvements
- Naturally inquisitive with a proactive approach to solutions and improvements

What you'll be doing:
- Manage and coach 3 People & Talent Coordinators, ensuring high-quality, consistent delivery of People & Talent services.
- Act as the point of escalation for operational and transactional HR issues, rolling your sleeves up to maintain a high quality service.
- Develop a systematic approach that continually manages, monitors and improves all people services operational activities.
- Own and optimise the HRIS, Learning and ATS platforms, developing a system roadmap and managing the data integrity.
- Continuously deep dive into people processes and touchpoints and refine and document end to end processes.
- Identify inefficiencies, pain points, and opportunities to automate or streamline workflows to ensure our focus is always on a high quality service.
- Design and deliver scalable, self-serve solutions for people queries and processes (e.g., FAQs, workflows, form automations).
- Partner with our Digital team, vendors, and internal teams to ensure systems are well integrated, maintained, and adopted.
- Drive diligence across our areas of risk and compliance, putting in place audits, frameworks and governance.
- Work closely with the wider people team to identify insights through data and feedback, to evolve people processes.
- Own and develop our data insights capabilities, building regular dashboards and reports to measure performance and identify trends.
- Ensure all our people operations are compliant with employment legislations, GDPR and internal policies.
- Lead on people policy reviews and updates.
