One-to-one Support Staff (shop-based) * Salary: £5,461 per annum (£13.50 p/hour) * Hours: 7.75 per week on Mondays plus additional hours available as cover. * Based: Bishopthorpe, York, YO23 2RF. Please Note: Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK Our shop sells the many wonderful products that we make, bake and grow here at Brunswick. The team prides itself on offering an excellent experience for our customers – welcoming, knowledgeable and offering great quality products. This role involves providing one-to-one support to work alongside and enable one of our shop team who has a learning disability. In addition to providing one-to-one support, the role is customer facing and will involve serving customers, stock replenishment, watering plants as needed and keeping our shop environment a tidy and welcoming environment for all. Our ideal candidate will be excellent at building relationships and empowering others. You will have experience of supporting people with a range of different skills and abilities and have a strong awareness of safety and wellbeing. As this role is shop-based, you will also have great customer service skills, be friendly, positive and a great team player. Additional hours will be available during the week and at weekends to cover holidays, sickness and busy periods. Availability to work additional hours at weekends, between April-June and in the lead up to Christmas is highly desirable.
