Position Overview: The Software Quality Tester is responsible for supporting the software testing lifecycle by preparing and executing test cases, documenting test results, and reporting issues. This role works closely with senior QA analysts, developers, and project managers to ensure software quality and performance. The role exists to assist in identifying defects, verifying fixes, and maintaining the overall quality of software products.
Essential Functions:
- Assist in developing and executing test plans and cases for software applications through black box testing.
- Identify, document, and report defects and issues.
- Collaborate with senior testers and developers to replicate issues and verify resolutions.
- Participate in team meetings and provide input on testing activities.
- Conduct positive and negative functional, regression, and performance testing as required.
- Maintain accurate records of testing activities and outcomes.
- Communicate with validators to identify and reproduce issues.
- Ability to work on small, well-defined tasks without supervision.
- Participate in on-water sea trials.

Required Qualifications:
- Written and verbal communication skills in the English language.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
- Intermediate English Level (B1, B2).
- Basic knowledge of testing tools and techniques.
- Problem solving and troubleshooting skills and experience.
- General product knowledge and interest in the marine industry.
- On-water experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- A Level or equivalent.
- RYA yachting qualifications, Power Boat 2, Yachtmaster Training will be available.
- Passion for boating or at least comfortable with product testing on boats.
Working Conditions:
- Hybrid working arrangement.
- Office working environment with some time spent in test labs.
- Will be expected to perform sea trials and testing on a boat regularly.
