Brunswick Group’s award-winning Investor Brand is recruiting for a Live Services Manager. Investor Brand is where creative intelligence meets financial discipline, elevating the equity story, strengthening reputation and shaping long-term value. The Live Services Manager is responsible for the management and delivery of in-person, hybrid, and virtual meetings & events through their full life production cycle. This position collaborates with a variety of internal stakeholders and liaises with external clients to ensure successful production and execution of onsite production and final delivery. Reporting to the Head of Live, this client facing role is responsible for seamless end-to-end execution of all events. Supporting the Head of Live in developing and growing the Live offer, this role is supported by a Senior Live Account Manager, Live Events Producer, Senior Live Services Engineer, and shared support of an Assistant Producer.
About the Role
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Business Development
- Support the Head of Live and Live Events in development and implementation of Live offer and growth plan through existing Brunswick clients and procurement of new business.
- Support the Head of Live in identifying and exploiting opportunities within the company by raising the profile of the team and offer.
- Seek out opportunities to network and build stronger relationships with directors and advisors.
- Prepare and write effective proposals and statements of work.
- Provide advice and assistance to Brunswick Live client teams for in-person, hybrid and virtual event pitches and proposals.
- Drive the development of additional multi-media-based products and services.
- Client Management
- Manage Brunswick Live clients on a day-to-day basis, taking responsibility for the successful delivery of projects and the quality of service provided to them.
- Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with clients with a view to broadening and developing the range of work that we do with them.
- Help clients to determine the best solutions to meet the communications needs of each event (such as live experience design, presentation management and production, network infrastructure, codecs/streaming formats).
- On-site and off-site management and client handling of the full spectrum of in-person, hybrid, and virtual events for clients.
- Project Management
- Price and run projects commercially ensuring that all quotes correctly reflect the level of service that is being delivered.
- Oversee the successful delivery of in-person, hybrid and virtual meetings & events from concept to event to archive.
- Follow correct processes and workflows, ensuring that other team members also follow them.
- Ensure that all documentation is correctly completed and filed.
- Continually review processes and procedures to ensure best practice is followed.
- Monitor best practice in webcasting services and look to innovate and challenge current practice.
- Team Management & Resourcing
- Demonstrate the ability to lead complex projects and manage the project teams.
- Plan and manage the resourcing of projects over the year, identifying pinch points and gaps in the schedule.
- Build strong and productive working relationships with internal customers and suppliers.
- Manage the Live database of suppliers and contractors who can be drawn upon to provide additional support to the team at all levels.
- Technology
- Demonstrate a strong interest in and awareness of the innovative tools and applications for meetings and events and keep up to date with trends in the business.
- Demonstrate a good knowledge of all aspects of audio-visual production and presentation technology, broadcast streaming encoding equipment and software.
- Seek and look for best practice on production technology, broadcast platforms and players, advising on where the business should develop and grow.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience delivering high-quality in-person, hybrid and virtual corporate events.
- Confident operating in high-pressure live environments with tight deadlines.
- Strong organisational, project management and communication skills.
- Experience managing live streaming and on-demand event delivery.
- Solid understanding of AV production technologies, including lighting, video and sound.
- Knowledge of webcasting and broadcast technologies.
- Strong interest in social media, live events and digital broadcasting trends.
- Excellent written communications skills, including experience drafting high-quality pitch documents, award submissions and case studies.
