As a key figure within this philosophy, the Visual Merchandiser based in Store is responsible for representing the company image by implementing visual merchandising strategies and overseeing VM displays within the Stores. The quality that we would like to offer resides, first of all, in the daily attention to personal appearance with a style that meets the standards of casual elegance of signature luxury of the brand. Furthermore, appearance signifies a polite, helpful disposition and being attentive to both colleagues and customers. The elements needed to keep up-to-date with product knowledge, aesthetics and philosophy are provided each season, in order to allow the Visual Merchandiser to implement the VM strategies and guidelines related to displays and windows throughout the different stores.
In particular, the Visual Merchandiser will be responsible for:
- Travelling across the assigned stores, to implement corporate visual merchandising strategies by assembling or dismantling visual displays in windows or in-stores on a regular basis;
- Training the sales team in the Stores on guidelines and procedures related to the seasonal windows, visual dressings and shop floor setting up for women’s categories;
- Ensuring that visual merchandising high standards in stores are maintained, by encouraging the sales team to complete displays to tight deadlines and rotate products in store according to company requests and analysis to increase sell out;
- Developing reports regarding merchandising activities;
- Providing feedback on displays and windows to the VM Management and Area Manager UK.
For the role of In Store Visual Merchandiser we are seeking a candidate who combines professional expertise and enthusiasm with courteous and helpful communication skills. To be successful in this role, applicants must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Retail for exclusive or luxury goods, in addition to fluent proficiency in English.
