PROFILE
The Stock Controller is responsible for ensuring correct and precise stock management, respecting efficiency standards and ensuring correct movement of goods between the warehouse and the sales floor.
Stock Controller responsibilities include tracking shipments, overseeing inventory audits and maintaining reports of purchases and pricing. More in detail the candidate will be involved in:
- Forecast both supply and demand that helps prevent running understocking or overstocking;
- Enter purchase details (invoices, vendor details, pricing) into the internal databases;
- Place orders that help replenish stock items as and when required;
- Track shipments and keep the records up-to-date on a day-to-day basis;
- Oversee product storage, particularly of fragile items;
- Maintaining inventory audits on a regular basis;
- Liaise with the internal teams and warehouse manager in order to facilitate the work of the sales team.
For the role of Stock Controller, we are looking for a candidate with at least three years of experience in stock management, preferably gained in Luxury Retail.
The ideal candidate is a dynamic person with excellent organizational skills and a fluent knowledge of english.
To be successful in this role, the candidate should be familiar with supply chain procedures and have good communication skills to interact with vendors, clients and internal teams.
Working knowledge of inventory management software is required.
