The role of the Brunello Cucinelli Assistant Store Manager is fundamental in providing support to the Store Manager. Requirements include helping run the Boutique, being a guide to the in-store team and acting as a reference point for customers.
Role responsibilities:
- Cultivating a relationship with customers through an active and continuous presence on the shop floor and by providing a unique service and shopping experience in line with the brand philosophy, the corporate image, and communication and CRM guidelines.
- Communicating clearly, correctly and courteously in their mother tongue and other foreign languages with both clients and colleagues, whilst also actively listening and paying attention in order to establish mutual trust.
- Guiding sales operations and ensuring that both customer service and the selling ceremony are compliant with company guidelines, with the aim of providing all customers with a special experience.
- Collaborating with Store Manager to set goals that are specific, actionable, and based on established KPI's, promoting the achievement of assigned targets based both on store targets and set up goals.
- Supporting the Store Manager in the organization of events and trunk shows in order to introduce new customers to the Brunello Cucinelli world, to instil and increase loyalty and to provide further ideas on CRM actions to be implemented.
- Ensuring that high standards are maintained through a correct implementation of the Visual Guidelines, coordinating the team in assembling or dismantling visual displays, in windows or in-store, on a regular basis.
- Enriching its presence in the Boutique through a careful interpretation of the Brunello Cucinelli style, ensuring a continuous update on products and new collections for the team and themselves.
- Guiding the team in maximizing sales and performance and reporting any missed opportunities to management, allowing potential corrective actions to be implemented.
- Providing feedback through reports related to sales trends (e.g. bestsellers, slow mover products etc.), customers and competitors.
- Managing and motivating the team in carrying out daily activities within the Boutique with a sense of responsibility.
- Ensuring each team member receives continuous feedback for improvement.
- Safeguarding and promoting respect and collaboration between colleagues, mediating any quarrel that may arise within the team by group coaching or one-to-one meetings.
- Cooperating with the stock department, providing support when required, especially during inventories.
- Ensuring that the retail operations procedures and the guidelines provided by HQ are respected.
- Cultivating direct contact with the headquarters.
- Using the main IT applications and systems, constantly updating any new tools made available by the company with particular reference to the Xstore management system and the Salesforce CRM system.
Qualifications:
For the role of Assistant Store Manager, we are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 8 years experience in Retail and at least 2 years gained in managerial roles in a luxury Retail brand. The ideal profile has a solid understanding of the product and a deep knowledge of the fashion industry and luxury sector. To be successful in this role, applicants must have excellent organisational skills, meticulous attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment. High flexibility, people management skills and the ability to lead the team in a fast-paced environment are considered fundamental. Fluency in English is required; the knowledge of another language will be considered a plus.
