About The Role

  • Support with personal care needs on an individual basis recognising choice, ability and diversity.
  • Dispense and administer medication to residents following successful completion of training and competencies.
  • Recognise and actively encourage the importance of social activity in a person’s day.
  • Mentor and lead a team within the home on best practice; demonstrating what good care and support looks like.
  • Understand the importance of a person’s life history and incorporate this into the daily care needs.

About You

  • If you’re an experienced carer or senior looking for the next steps this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
  • Experience in the care sector is essential.
  • Previous line management responsibilities are desirable.
  • Achieved or are working towards Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
  • Enthusiastic, friendly and passionate about working with older people.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to work on own initiative.
