Cost Controller

Job Title: Cost Controller / Site Cost-Controller

Contract: 12 month renewable – Inside IR35

Location: Mold

Overview:

• Brunel are sourcing for a Cost Controller, to join a leading O&G Operator, with a new and exciting project.
• Successful candidate will be responsible for validating Contractor progress claims, providing Contract Manager with accurate and timely reports, verifying cost performance against plan and identifying potential areas of budget overruns requiring action.

Responsibilities:

• Timely and accurate execution of contractors progress claims validation and cost control activities.
• Contracts Cost reports updating according to actual values and forecasts, highlighting potential areas of budget overrun
• Verifying and validating Vendors and Contractors progress claims (after quantities certification by Construction/Engineering teams), updating cost documentation and allocating costs to the right cost elements.

Reports to:

• Project Services Manager / Construction Manager / Offshore Construction Manager / Construction Site Rep

Main Interfaces:

• Internal – Construction Team / Engineering Team
• External – Contractors and Vendors project control resources

Required Experience & Knowledge

• 3 years of experience in Oil & Gas industry
• Minimum education of Technical Diploma
• Cost Planning & Control best practices
• Contract Variations & Claims resolution
• Basic knopwledge of QA/QC Construction Management Systems.
