About the Role: This role will involve commissioning, testing and handover of fire systems across a range of commercial environments. You will play a key role in ensuring systems are delivered to a high standard and fully compliant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing client expectations
- Liaising with clients and contractors
- Good communication skills are required as most of the role will involve being in a customer facing environment.
- Commissioning of large projects in Access Control, CCTV, Intruder and Fire Alarms.
- Completion of paperwork and/or CRM documentation.
- Knowledge of integration of detection and CCTV systems into other disciplines.
- Adhering to Health and Safety at the workplace.
- Replenishment of PPE and/or safety equipment.
Essential Requirements:
- Ability to commission and handover systems in line with the specification and drawings including client demonstrations/training.
- Experience on working on Fire, CCTV, Intruder and access control projects.
- Network/IP based product knowledge.
- Possess strong time management skills
- Be a team player and have a ‘Can-do’ attitude
- Have outstanding verbal and communications skills
Experience & Qualifications:
- Relevant qualifications and a full understanding of BS5839.
- A minimum of 5 years industry experience
- Manufacturer qualifications/training certifications
- Product knowledge on the below systems: Gallagher access control, Salto access control, Bosch CCTV, Hanwha CCTV, Milestone, Honeywell Galaxy intruder alarm, Texecom intruder alarm, Gent Advanced
