Are you an experienced Civil Work Engineer looking to contribute to major energy and infrastructure projects on a global scale?
Our client is a leading international engineering and construction organisation delivering complex onshore and offshore projects across the energy sector. With a strong focus on innovation, digitalisation and sustainability, they are supporting the global transition towards a lower-carbon future.
Duration: 6 Month contract
As Civil Work Engineer, you will play a key role in the delivery of engineering activities, supporting the design, verification and coordination of civil and structural works while ensuring compliance with project quality, budget and schedule requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver civil and structural engineering activities in line with project objectives, quality standards and contractual requirements.
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for civil works and buildings, and Material Take-Offs (MTO) for steel structures using 3D modelling tools.
- Produce technical documentation and engineering deliverables for subcontracted activities.
- Develop drainage, sewage and plumbing system layouts for industrial facilities and buildings.
- Perform engineering studies for foundations, concrete structures and associated civil works.
- Review and verify discipline deliverables, including vendor documentation, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
- Verify and coordinate structural BIM models in accordance with industry best practices and project execution requirements.
- Review and approve engineering design packages and construction drawings for foundations, concrete structures and buildings.
- Support engineering follow-up activities throughout project execution.
- Provide field engineering support during construction and site activities as required.
Requirements
- Proven experience working as a Civil Work Engineer within Oil & Gas, Energy, EPC or industrial projects.
- Experience delivering civil and structural engineering design for large-scale multidisciplinary projects.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
Certifications
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge and application of Eurocodes.
- Experience with foundations, concrete structures, steel structures and building design.
- Understanding of BIM methodologies and 3D model coordination.
Software Skills
- Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel.
- Mat3D.
- Foundation3D.
- SP3D.
- Navisworks.
