Brunel University London is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Clinical Psychology to join our growing Department of Psychology. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a strategic area of expansion within the Department, developing new clinically oriented provision, including an MSc in Clinical Psychology, and contributing to both teaching and research in clinical psychology and mental health.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, covering psychological disorders, assessment, formulation, and evidence‑informed interventions.
- Supervise student research and contribute to curriculum development and assessment.
- Develop an active research profile in clinical psychology or a related mental health area, producing high‑quality publications and engaging in collaborative research activity and funding opportunities appropriate to career stage.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience of clinical or counselling practice (current or past), with expertise in psychological assessment, case formulation, or delivery of evidence‑based interventions.
- Strongly desirable clinical or counselling experience.
- Expertise in clinical psychology, counselling psychology, or mental health research and practice.
