Overview

Retail Assistant – 16314 at Brunel University London. Part-time role based at Brunel University London, Uxbridge Campus. Salary: Grade 2 from £24,962 to £25,251 per annum inclusive of London Weighting with potential to progress to £25,536 per annum inclusive of London Weighting, pro-rata if part-time. Hours: 20 hours per week, 52 weeks a year. Contract Type: Permanent.

The Retail department operates under the Facilities and Commercial Services directorate and runs two campus stores: Costcutter and the Students’ Store, handling an average of 3,000 transactions daily.

Responsibilities

  • Serve customers with a friendly demeanor and deliver excellent customer service.
  • Replenish stock to ensure shelves are well stocked.
  • Maintain a clean and inviting shopping environment.

Ideal Candidate / Qualifications

  • Passion for retail and excellent customer service

  • Good knowledge of Health and Safety at work
  • Cash handling experience

Additional Information

Working pattern may include some weekends, early mornings, and late evenings to accommodate a busy campus. 20 hours per week, 52 weeks a year. Hybrid working approach.
