Applications are invited for Medical Education Fellow positions at Brunel Medical School to start in November 2025. The post is for a period of one year, either as an out‑of‑programme experience or stand‑alone experience. Full‑time is preferred but 0.8 FTE will be considered.

Brunel University London, Uxbridge Campus.

Salary

Grade 8, Point 34: £42,882 plus £2,508 London Weighting (pro rata if part‑time).

Contract Type

Fixed‑term – End date 4 August 2026.

Brunel Medical School welcomed its first intake of students in September 2022. The MBBS programme has distinctive features, including team‑based learning, programmatic assessment, clinical anatomy using plastinated specimens and radiological imaging, and early exposure to patients in community settings. Digital technologies are used to enhance learning, and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion are embedded across all aspects of the student experience.

Responsibilities

  • Teaching clinical skills, communication skills, and anatomy.
  • Contributing to curriculum development, assessment and student selection.
  • Participating in team‑based teaching sessions and providing in‑house training.

Qualifications

  • Fully registered with the General Medical Council.
  • Completed Foundation Year 2 training and usually within five years of graduation.
  • Keenness to work in medical education.

Funding is available towards costs for those keen to pursue a post‑graduate education qualification. Successful applicants will join a team of Medical Education Fellows and work collaboratively to contribute to various aspects of the programme. The experience gained will enhance your medical education portfolio.

You will be expected to work on the Brunel University Campus in Uxbridge, London. All applicants should be eligible to live and work in the UK.
