As we celebrate our 60th Anniversary and shape the next chapter of Brunel’s future, we are seeking a Senior Communications Manager to provide strategic leadership across our internal and external communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Deputise for the Associate Director of Marketing and Communications, acting as a confident and credible leader.
- Lead communications planning on major projects and provide expert advice on reputational risk.
- Shape and deliver organisational narratives, ensuring alignment with the university’s priorities and impact.
- Manage and develop a small team, balancing strategic oversight with hands‑on delivery in a fast‑moving and complex environment.
- Collaborate closely with senior colleagues and teams across Brunel to strengthen communications capability within a large, diverse organisation.
Salary Grade 9: £53,547 to £63,415 (inclusive of London Weighting) with potential to progress to £67,113 per annum through sustained exceptional contribution.
Working Hours & Contract Full‑time, Permanent contract.
Location Brunel University of London, Uxbridge Campus.
