The Department of Engineering is newly formed and integrates expertise across electronic, electrical, mechanical, aerospace, civil and chemical engineering disciplines. The Department has an ambitious strategic direction focused on research excellence and REF performance, doctoral training, industry-relevant teaching, and the development of international partnerships and transnational education.

The successful candidate will be expected to align their research with the Department’s priority themes and contribute to relevant research centres/groups, strengthening research outputs and external funding performance.
