Fitness Instructor – 12995 – 4 at Brunel University of London. Brunel University Gym is looking for a dedicated Fitness Professional who will always strive to improve, be innovative and deliver high quality sessions to help our gym members reach their exercise goals.

- Salary: Grade G3 from £25,922 to £26,389 per annum inclusive of London Weighting with potential to progress to £26,852 per annum inclusive of London Weighting through sustained exceptional contribution (Pro-rata for Part-time)

Responsibilities
- Deliver gym inductions, lead fitness classes, create tailored training programmes, and provide personal training sessions for members.
- Respond to emails, handle member account enquiries, support sales and marketing efforts (including social media), and maintain accurate membership database records.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness and safety in the gym; perform regular cleaning duties and conduct equipment checks.
- Provide outstanding customer service and ensure member satisfaction.
- Receive additional income for personal training sessions and work a shift pattern that includes weekends.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Sound knowledge of health and fitness; minimum Level 2 Fitness Instructor certification or evidence of working towards the course completion is required.
- A valid First Aid certificate would be an advantage.
- Proactive and flexible approach to meeting the demands of a busy department; strong communication and customer service skills.
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
