Position Details

  • Location: Brunel University of London, Uxbridge Campus
  • Salary: Grade G8 from £45,390 to £58,263, with potential to progress to £65,236 per annum, inclusive of London Weighting. (Pro-rata if Part-time)
  • Hours: Full-time
  • Contract Type: Permanent

The Opportunity

We seek a qualified Law Librarian to engage with academic colleagues and students through information literacy training and research support. You will support collection development, provide expert advice on resources, and advocate for academic needs to the Library Leadership Team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support courses within the College of Arts, Law and Social Sciences, focusing on Brunel Law School
  • Plan and deliver Information Literacy and Digital Skills sessions
  • Support research activities and participate in relevant committees
  • Establish relationships with programme teams
  • Promote access to resources and services through academic liaison
  • Assist in academic enquiry services, develop learning materials, and manage print and online resources

Candidate Profile

Applicants should hold a postgraduate qualification in Library and Information Management or equivalent, with experience in a library/customer-focused environment, academic liaison, and relevant Law subject expertise. Effective communication, IT skills, flexibility, and attention to detail are essential.
