We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and collegial Lecturer (Teaching & Research) in Accounting & Finance to join our vibrant academic community. We are looking for a candidate with the ability to teach across a broad spectrum of accounting subjects (such as financial and management accounting) and can also offer topics related to financial management and financial markets. Expertise and willingness to incorporate emerging technologies and Artificial Intelligence applications in teaching, assessment and curriculum is particularly desirable.

The successful candidate will deliver high-quality, research-informed, practice-oriented teaching and student support across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes (including on overseas partnered programmes), with a strong emphasis on real-world applications and graduate employability. They will be expected to engage actively in curriculum development, innovative teaching and assessment practices, student engagement, and recruitment activities, while contributing positively to the collegiate culture of the Department.

The postholder will maintain an internationally recognised research programme, producing high-quality outputs in line with REF expectations and demonstrating sustained contribution to the field. They will be expected to apply and secure external research funding.
