Salary: Grade 8 from £45,390 to £58,263 inclusive of London Weighting with potential to progress to £65,236 per annum inclusive of London Weighting through sustained exceptional contribution.

Description of the Role:

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and collegial Lecturer (Education) in Accounting to join our vibrant academic community. We are looking for a candidate with the ability to teach across a broad spectrum of accounting subjects (financial accounting, management accounting, auditing and taxation). Expertise in emerging technologies and Artificial Intelligence applications in accounting and finance is particularly desirable, alongside specialist areas such as forensic accounting or sustainability accounting.

The successful candidate will deliver high-quality, research-informed, practice-oriented teaching and student support across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, with a strong emphasis on real-world applications and graduate employability. They will be expected to engage actively in curriculum development, innovative teaching and assessment practices, student engagement, and recruitment activities, while contributing positively to the collaborative culture of the Department.
