Working closely with the College Finance Officer, the primary purpose of this role is to support the College’s financial activities.
Key responsibilities:
You will play an important role in providing an efficient, effective and high standard of financial administration and processing support across the College. Your responsibilities will include:
• Daily responsibility for the processing of orders and invoices in line with financial regulations.
• Act as a point of contact for finance queries, including procurement.
• Process, advise and report on staff and non-staff expense claims and reimbursement.
• Assist with budget reporting and forecasting for operational sub-projects.
• Maintain accurate financial records, supporting budget holders to remain in budget and in compliance with the institution’s financial regulations.
• Liaise with University colleagues in Finance, Procurement, Payroll and Sales Ledger.
• Deputise for the College Finance Officer on occasion.
