Salary: Grade 6 from: £34,145 to £38,638 inclusive of London Weighting with potential to progress to £40,757 per annum inclusive of London Weighting. (Pro rata if Part‑time)

The Professional Work Experience Team (PWE) is seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Academic Placement and Partnerships Finance Officer to support the financial administration of student placements across the Department of Education, Department of Health Sciences and Brunel Medical School. This role plays a key part in ensuring the effective operation of placement‑related financial processes, including payments to placement providers, student bursaries and travel claims.

You will work closely with students, academic colleagues and external partners to provide clear guidance and ensure transactions are accurate, timely and compliant with university procedures. You will have experience in an administrative or finance‑related role, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage data and systems effectively. Excellent numerical and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload in a busy environment are essential, as is confidence in working with a range of stakeholders.

This is a great opportunity to contribute to an important area of student experience, supporting placement activity that directly impacts students’ professional development.
