BSR is recruiting Welders for a major UK nuclear programme. This role requires proven coded welding capability, strong quality discipline and experience working in tightly controlled industrial settings. Successful applicants will work to approved welding procedures, project standards and client competency requirements while supporting safe and efficient delivery on site.

Responsibilities

  • Perform coded welding activities in line with approved procedures and project quality standards.
  • Read and interpret drawings, weld maps, specifications and work instructions.
  • Maintain welding quality, traceability and compliance with inspection and testing requirements.
  • Work safely within project rules, permit controls and supervision arrangements.
  • Support inspection hold points, repairs, rework and completion records as required.

Qualifications

  • BS EN ISO 9606 coded welding qualification.
  • CCNSG passport.
  • In addition, one accepted technical route such as a Level 2 or Level 3 Diploma in Welding or Fabrication, welding apprenticeship, ACE Card in Welding Pipe or Plate, Chinese Diploma in Welding and Fabrication, Turkish Steel Pipe Welding Vocational Qualification, Turkish Level 3 Welder Card, Indian ITI Certificate in Pipe Welding, South African Trade Certificate, or other client-accepted equivalent.
  • A minimum of 3 years of verified experience as a Welder in a relevant industry.
  • Ability to work to exacting quality and safety standards in a regulated environment.

Preferred

  • Experience on nuclear new build, pipe systems or other high-integrity welding packages.
  • Strong record of passing inspection and maintaining weld documentation.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £29.34-£32.27 per hour
