Responsibilities:
- Provide expert technical support to laboratories, researchers, and students, ensuring safe and effective delivery of research programmes.
- Support industrial casting trials, prototype new technologies, and maintain and improve laboratory equipment and processes.
- Develop SOPs and provide technical guidance within a collaborative, internationally recognised research environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in mechanical engineering, machining, machine assembly, welding.
- Solid understanding of electrical systems, PLCs, and control systems.
- Practical expertise in metal casting processes, including safe handling of molten metals.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a research environment.
