The Research Support and Development Office (RSDO) at Brunel supports the research community to identify and secure external funding, manage contractual and compliance aspects of research and innovation projects, facilitate research collaborations and commercialise research to deliver societal impact.

Location: Brunel University London, Uxbridge Campus

Contract: Full‑time, Permanent, Grade 8: £45,390–£58,263 (inclusive of London weighting), potential to progress to £65,236

Hours: Full‑time

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement an international collaboration compliance and due diligence framework for Trusted Research.
  • Review and monitor collaborations and partnerships at key stages, proportional to risk.
  • Ensure compliance with external statutory and contractual obligations, funder terms, university policy.
  • Develop and maintain policies, procedures, repositories, and databases for oversight of collaborations.
  • Work with academics and partnership teams across the University.
  • Develop training and guidance for the research community to operationalise processes.

Qualifications:

  • A science or technology related degree or relevant professional experience in a science/technology environment.
  • Experience working closely with senior management, academic staff, and researchers.
  • Strong understanding of the university research landscape and sensitivity to cultural and political context.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a broader team.
