The Service Sales Specialist (m/f/d) is a key role within the support organization of Bruker Nano Surfaces and Metrology “BNSM” Division, manufacturer of the world\’s leading Atomic Forces Microscopes, Stylus profilers, Mechanical Testers, X-Ray metrology and Wafer Clean, Mask Repair and non-contact 3D optical microscopes for research and semiconductor applications.
The position could be done home based within Europe with the necessity to travel from time to time.
Responsibilities
- Create business development plan. Provide and achieve targets to grow the Service Business unit to maximize volume and profitability.
- Promote and sell the LabScape Service Agreements, upgrades and other aftermarket products to all existing and new customers in EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa).
- Be responsible for the maintenance and growth of the Service Contract business for all product groups in General Purpose Instruments in the assigned sales territory
- Evaluate needs and negotiate contracts directly with key accounts or indirectly with 3rd Party Service Providers subject to chart of authority
- Develop existing and build new customer relationships ensuring Bruker is seen as a long-term business partner
- Aid instrument sales by maintaining and developing effective, working customer relationships via valued service products.
- Develop proposal for sales campaigns for specific service products and markets/customers and align campaigns with the Service, Marcom, and Product Management leadership before execution
- Monitor changes or developments within the industry and report to management
- Documentation of activities in our CRM program
Service administration
- Provide administrative support to customers and field service team, such as responding to pricing inquiries, creating quotations and maintaining customer data base.
- Phone support for customer
- Interact with Finance team to ensure that billing and collections proceed in a timely manner.
Other duties as assigned that are broadly in line with the above and key objectives.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of sales experience. Experience with contract sales preferred.
- Tenacity and self-motivation inspired by success, enthusiasm, drive, and initiative directed towards achieving positive outcomes
- An outgoing and likeable personality with a high degree of personal integrity
- Ability to collaborate with people at all levels
- Order processing experience is preferred
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM system
- Computer literacy for document, presentation preparation and report writing
- Excellent communication (both written and oral) in English, French and German are a strong advantage.
