I’m working with a well-established financial planning firm in the Warrington area that, following recent growth and new client wins, is seeking to appoint a Senior Client Manager. This will appeal to an experienced paraplanner ready to step into a client-facing role without leaving the technical work behind.

The role

You’ll be working alongside the firm’s Senior Financial Advisers, attending client meetings and owning the technical planning around them. You’ll be directly authorised, with a clear path to managing clients of your own.

Your key areas of focus will include:

  • Attending client meetings and owning the fact find, research and suitability reports that follow
  • Leading pre-meeting preparation — research, quotations and key advice points
  • Building cash-flow models and analysing existing pension, investment and protection arrangements
  • Working closely with advisers, administrators and compliance to keep every case accurate and clear

Requirements;

Our client is looking for someone who has built real technical credibility as a paraplanner, Specifically, you’ll be able to demonstrate:

  • Paraplanning experience within an IFA or financial planning firm, including suitability reports
  • Hands-on use of cash-flow modelling, investment platforms and pension providers
  • A strong working knowledge of FCA regulatory requirements
  • The Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning

Nice to have:

  • Some experience of advising clients directly, or leading parts of client meetings

Just as importantly, you’ll be the kind of planner who takes care over the detail and can turn a complex conversation into a report a client actually understands. That’s what this business values, and it’s what this role demands.
