A leading UK bank is hiring a VP into its Technology Audit team, focused on the merchant acquiring business and its multi‑year transformation programme. The role You’ll deliver technology audits across a major transformation agenda covering platform modernisation, cloud adoption, engineering practices, data and analytics, operational resilience and cyber risk. The work is end to end: reviewing and challenging delivery, making sure risks are understood and controlled, and giving senior stakeholders insight they can act on. This is a high profile part of the bank, so your work gets visibility with programme leadership and business heads from day one. Why it's interesting Merchant acquiring is one of the most active areas in payments right now, and this programme touches everything from legacy platform replacement to new engineering and data capability. You won’t be auditing steady state. You’ll be embedded in change as it happens, which is where audit careers accelerate.
