Consultant – Finance, Accounting & Audit at Bruin Financial

My client, a Global Investment Bank, are looking to hire an AVP level Auditor within their Traded Risk Audit team. This role will be a key member of the global internal audit team, focusing on delivering audits and issue validation.

Job Title: Traded Risk Audit AVP

Location: London (Hybrid – 3 days in office per week)

Type: Permanent

Responsibilities:

• Supporting the delivery of audits and the development of audit processes.
• Assessing operational risks to ensure the delivery of the Audit Plan.
• Reviewing the effectiveness of internal controls and their ability to identify and mitigate risk aligned to regulatory requirements.
• Communicating with key stakeholders, including Senior Management and Audit Owners, to convey key findings and recommendations.
• Keeping abreast of regulatory trends and industry developments to provide relevant insight and recommendations to the business.

Required Experience & Skills:

• Strong experience of Market Risk and/or Counterparty Credit Risk, alongside an in depth understanding of upcoming Basel requirements.
• Relevant professional certifications in Accounting, Auditing, or Risk, or equivalent career experience in audit or risk management roles.
• Proficiency in data analytics and coding, using tools such as Tableau, Python, SQL etc.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders and team members from a range of backgrounds.
