Technical Accounting Manager – Treasury. Bruin City Of London, United Kingdom.
This role involves advising clients on the accounting, risk management and operational challenges facing modern treasury functions. You’ll deliver end-to-end support across treasury accounting, hedge accounting and financial instrument valuation, IFRS 9 and related interpretations, and project delivery on complex treasury and finance transformations.

 - IFRS 9 and IAS 39 implementation and technical interpretation
 - Treasury operating model design and control enhancement
 - Liquidity, cash management and risk management reviews
 - Project delivery on complex treasury and finance transformations
 
What you’ll bring
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
 - Proven experience in Treasury, Accounting Advisory, or Financial Instruments gained in a Big 4 or mid-tier advisory environment, or a corporate or banking treasury function with IFRS 9 exposure
 - Strong technical understanding of treasury products, derivatives, hedging, FX, liquidity and funding instruments
 - Excellent working knowledge of IFRS 9, IAS 39, UK GAAP and related reporting standards
 - Familiarity with treasury systems such as Kyriba, SAP TRM, or Quantum
 - Strong analytical and stakeholder-management skills, able to communicate complex accounting issues to non-specialists
 - Experience leading or mentoring teams on client engagements
