We’re working with a leading UK Master Trust that is seeking to hire a pivotal role in their Client Management team following an exciting period of growth. This newly created role is seeking an established senior DC expert in the UK market, with extensive experience working with clients and senior stakeholders.
The role will be a position with key influence within the overall Master Trust, and seen as a suitable successor to the current Head of Client Management at their own role evolves within the business.
The Role
As a Senior Client Manager , you will be central to the ongoing success of the DC proposition, acting as a key interface between clients and internal teams. Your responsibilities will include:
- Taking ownership of a portfolio of DC clients, providing strategic oversight and relationship management from onboarding through to ongoing service delivery.
- Leading client pitch presentations and articulating the value of best-in-class member engagement and administration support.
- Supporting the Head of Workplace in managing and developing a high-performing client management team.
- Attending trustee and governance meetings, offering insights and proposing innovative ways to develop and enhance schemes.
- Driving scheme growth through targeted member engagement and communication campaigns.
- Building strong, long-term relationships with client stakeholders and identifying opportunities to enhance value through tailored solutions.
- Collaborating internally with proposition development teams and external partners to ensure seamless service delivery.
The Person
To succeed in this role, you will be a natural relationship builder with excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of the DC pensions landscape. Ideally, you will bring:
- Proven experience in client management within the pensions or employee benefits sector.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and support team members.
- Excellent presentation and influencing skills with an ability to deliver strategic value to clients.
- A proactive, solution-focused approach with commercial acumen and attention to detail.
- Experience working with Master Trust, GPP or bundled pension arrangements would be advantageous.
- A collaborative mindset, capable of working effectively with internal stakeholders and third-party providers.
