About the job:
New opportunity for a Share Scheme Associate to join a growing Shares Team within a Global Insurance Group. In this position, you will support the team delivering share-related services to the Group's boards, shareholders, and the wider business, ensuring full compliance with Group policies. The opportunity will have a focus on reconciliation and reporting within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Producing financial and administrative reports from Diligent Entities.
- Supporting the Share Team with projects including the Internal Share Offers, liquidity events, and the allotment of incentive awards.
- Liaising with shareholders, in relation to shareholdings, and assisting with share transfers while ensuring accurate and consistent processing.
- Liaising and building relationships with internal teams, including HR, Finance, Tax, and Legal, as well as external partners such as share registrars, legal advisers, and employee benefit trusts.
- Reviewing and resolving issues raised by team members and internal partners, escalating as needed.
- Ensuring Companies House records are kept up to date and accurate.
- Monitoring shareholder leaver processes, including payments, and assisting with future payment budgeting.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- Degree or similar qualification.
- Previous experience working in Share Schemes, ideally gained from within the insurance market or financial services.
- Proven experience with share administration, including related processes, reconciliations, and drafting correspondence with shareholders.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to establish and implement effective control processes for detailed and accurate monitoring.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A Certificate in Employee Share Plans qualification is beneficial for this role, but not an essential requirement.
- Familiarity with Diligent Entities is highly preferred.
