Associate Director - Sales & Marketing at Bruin & Mental Health First Aider

We’re working in partnership with a leading global investment management firm to find a dynamic Regional Sales Manager to cover the South of England. With a strong reputation and a diverse and in-demand product set, this firm offers a compelling proposition for both clients and ambitious sales professionals.

This is a key territory within the UK intermediary team, with strong existing relationships and significant potential for further growth. The client base is primarily made up of discretionary fund managers (DFMs), alongside some high-end IFAs. You’ll be responsible for managing and deepening these relationships, promoting a high-quality fund range across equities, fixed income and alternatives.

This opportunity would suit either an experienced field-based sales professional or someone ready to step up from a hybrid or internal sales role, particularly those with exposure to DFM or wealth manager relationships. What matters most is your drive, relationship-building ability and genuine interest in investments.

The successful candidate will be involved in:

  • Manage and grow relationships with discretionary fund managers (DFMs), high-end IFAs, and wealth management firms across the South West region
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to increase regional AUM and deepen client engagement
  • Present and promote the firm’s range of investment strategies across asset classes, tailoring messaging to client needs
  • Collaborate closely with other internal stakeholders such as the marketing and investment teams to deliver a seamless client experience
  • Identify new business opportunities within the region, nurturing prospects through the sales funnel
  • Provide market insights, client feedback, and competitor intelligence to support product positioning and development
  • Maintain accurate records of client activity and pipeline through CRM systems
  • Represent the firm at regional events, seminars, and conferences to enhance brand presence and build relationships
  • Support and educate clients on investment capabilities, performance updates, and relevant market developments
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal requirements in client interactions and reporting

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A background in intermediary sales within asset management, with a strong understanding of investment products
  • Either an experienced field salesperson or someone looking to make the transition from a hybrid/internal sales role
  • Demonstrated experience or strong potential in managing relationships with DFMs and/or high-end IFAs
  • Highly motivated, self-sufficient, and confident operating with a high degree of autonomy
