A leading London Market insurance broker is seeking an experienced Delegated Authority Claims Handler to join its established and growing Property & Casualty claims team. This role sits within a specialist binder / delegated authority platform, supporting a predominantly Canadian portfolio with US exposure, and offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, well respected market environment with strong client relationships.
The Role
- Handling Property & Casualty delegated authority claims
- Primary responsibility for Canadian business, with US claims involvement
- Managing claims through the full lifecycle, working closely with Coverholders, TPAs, Brokers, and Internal stakeholders
- Developing and maintaining strong client relationships
- Acting as a visible market presence, including meetings and visiting clients
- Supporting a busy, hands-on claims function (this is a non-managerial role)
About You
- 5-10 years' experience in Delegated Authority / Binder Claims (candidates with slightly less experience will be considered where DA exposure is strong)
- Solid knowledge of Canadian claims; US experience beneficial
- Good understanding of London Market DA systems and processes
- Confident, credible and comfortable in a client-facing role
- Proactive, organised and able to manage workload independently
- Preference for being office based / market present, rather than fully remote
