My client, a leading Financial Services business, are looking to hire a Senior Manager within their Finance Business Partnering team, focusing on Procurement and Cost Management.

Location: Milton Keynes (Hybrid – 3 days in office per week)

Duration: Permanent

Role Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring spend, investments and cost base align with strategic goals, delivering sustainable value and supporting operational excellence.
  • Partnering with the business to optimise cost and shape commercial decisions that drive long‐term profitability and resilience.
  • Bridging strategic objectives and financial outcomes, ensuring cost, investment and change decisions enhance performance, innovation and sustainability.
  • Acting as a CFO‐style owner of a defined business area's P&L, providing insight, challenge and direction to drive strategic outcomes.
  • Leading and developing a team of Finance Business Partners to deliver forward‐looking analysis, planning and executive‐level decision support.
  • Translating complex financial and cost information into clear, impactful narratives and drives effective cost management across stakeholders.

Preferred background:

  • Experience in Senior Finance Business Partnering roles, including P&L ownership.
  • A track record of providing strategic insights to senior stakeholders within either Technology or Change business units, capable of influencing decisions and driving measurable financial outcomes.
  • Strong experience of cost management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Experience within a large Financial Services business or similar highly regulated industry.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of explaining complex financial concepts in simple terms and building collaborative relationships with senior stakeholders across the business.
  • Experience leading a team of Finance Business Partners.
