A leading, independent asset management firm is seeking a Stewardship & Governance Manager to join its Product, Stewardship & Governance function. About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Product, Stewardship & Governance, you will play a central role in advancing the firm’s stewardship activities, ESG governance standards and regulatory reporting. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about sustainability, investment governance, and evolving global ESG regulation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead ESG-related product and investment reporting, including TCFD, SFDR and SDR.
- Lead or support wider sustainability and stewardship reporting such as the UK Stewardship Code, PRI and CDP submissions.
- Complete ESG RFPs, DDQs and other sustainability-related client questionnaires.
- Provide subject matter expertise to investment teams on ESG integration and evidence gathering.
- Monitor emerging global ESG regulations and interpret their relevance to the firm’s products and processes.
- Support or lead implementation projects for new ESG/sustainability requirements.
- Contribute to the firm’s ESG strategy and prepare materials for internal governance forums.
- Collaborate with internal teams including Compliance, Risk, Operations, Marketing, and external reporting partners.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in asset management or a relevant ESG/sustainability role.
- Strong knowledge of ESG regulatory regimes (e.g., SFDR, TCFD, SDR).
- Excellent analytical capabilities and the ability to present complex concepts clearly.
- Strong understanding of financial markets and investment products.
- Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to adapt to different audiences.
- Advanced user of Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft applications.
- Experience with ISS and MSCI reporting systems is beneficial.
- Right to Work in the UK is required.
