Senior Reward Project Lead (FTC / Project Role) London / Hybrid Global Scope | Financial Services

Following a period of significant M&A and a sharper focus on performance, this organisation is embarking on a global transformation of its incentive landscape. This role will play a pivotal part in simplifying and strengthening bonus and variable pay structures across the business.

The Opportunity

Working closely with the Head of Equity & Reward, you will lead a global project to map, assess and consolidate all cash bonus and sales incentive schemes across multiple jurisdictions. This is a high-impact role with real visibility — shaping future incentive design, improving governance, and driving consistency across a complex, regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the global mapping and documentation of all bonus and variable pay schemes
  • Build a centralised inventory of scheme mechanics, governance and participation
  • Analyse incentive structures, costings, and performance linkages
  • Identify inconsistencies, risks, and opportunities for simplification
  • Ensure alignment with FCA and broader regulatory requirements (e.g. conduct, deferral, clawback)
  • Partner with senior HR, Finance and business leaders globally
  • Deliver clear insights, reporting and recommendations to senior stakeholders

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong experience in Reward / Compensation, ideally within Financial Services or Insurance
  • Proven expertise in sales incentives and variable pay structures
  • Experience operating in FCA-regulated environments
  • Strong analytical capability across incentive mechanics and financial inputs
  • Track record delivering global, cross-border reward projects
  • Confident engaging senior stakeholders and navigating complexity

Why This Role?

  • High visibility, transformation-focused project
  • Opportunity to shape global incentive strategy
