Our client is a leading long-term private equity investor looking to appoint a Senior Associate or Junior Investment Manager to its London investment team. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a highly active upper mid-market platform investing in market-leading businesses across Europe. With significant capital still to deploy, the team offers exceptional exposure across the full investment lifecycle, from origination and execution through to portfolio value creation.

The strategy focuses on businesses with enterprise values of €300 million to €750 million+, partnering with management teams to drive long-term growth through operational improvement, strategic acquisitions and international expansion. The role offers direct exposure to senior decision-makers within a lean investment team, providing meaningful responsibility from day one.

What you'll be doing:

  • Evaluate and execute new investment opportunities across Europe
  • Build and analyse complex financial models and valuations
  • Lead commercial, financial and operational due diligence
  • Prepare investment committee materials and transaction documentation
  • Work closely with portfolio company management teams on value creation initiatives
  • Support origination and build relationships with advisers, management teams and industry contacts

Who we're looking for:

  • 1–3 years' Investment Banking experience (M&A, Leveraged Finance or equivalent)
  • Followed by a minimum of 2–3 years'+ private equity investing experience with sector experience within Business Services, Healthcare and/or Software / Technology
  • Strong transaction execution and financial modelling capabilities
  • Sector experience within Business Services, Healthcare or Software / Technology
  • Commercially minded, intellectually curious and eager to take ownership within a collaborative investment team
