An established and fast-growing real estate investment platform is looking to appoint a Manager to join its high-performing Property Finance team in London.

This is an outstanding opportunity to join a market-leading direct lender with a strong institutional backing and an excellent track record across UK real estate debt.

The business provides senior secured development finance across residential, commercial and alternative asset classes, supporting experienced developers and investors on transactions typically ranging from £10 million to £100 million.

With significant capital available to deploy and ambitious growth plans, the platform continues to expand its lending activities across the UK.

The Opportunity

Working alongside experienced Directors and Managing Directors, you will take ownership of transactions throughout the full lending lifecycle.

This is a highly commercial role offering exposure to underwriting, execution, portfolio management and borrower relationship management, while working on complex, high-value real estate transactions.

The successful individual will play a key role in supporting the continued growth of the platform while helping to deliver best-in-class financing solutions to leading UK property developers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead transactions from initial opportunity assessment through underwriting, credit approval, execution, portfolio management and repayment.
  • Analyse development finance opportunities through detailed financial modelling and credit analysis.
  • Prepare investment papers, credit memoranda, financial models and committee materials.
  • Conduct sponsor, market and asset-level due diligence across multiple real estate sectors.
  • Manage legal execution alongside lawyers, valuers, monitoring surveyors and other external advisers.
  • Oversee existing loan portfolio performance and maintain strong borrower relationships.
  • Work closely with internal Risk, Legal and Finance teams to ensure smooth execution and ongoing monitoring.
  • Support and mentor junior members of the team where appropriate.

  • Strong underwriting and transaction execution experience across development finance.
  • A thorough understanding of the full lending lifecycle from origination through to repayment.

  • Advanced financial modelling and credit analysis skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
