Our client, a well-established international bank, is keen to hire a Director within its Loan Capital Markets team. This role will focus on corporate client coverage across the UK and wider Europe, with responsibility for leading syndicated loan activity across multiple jurisdictions. Fluency in German is essential.
THE ROLE
- Originate, structure, and execute syndicated corporate loan transactions across Europe
- Lead transactions from initial client engagement through to execution and distribution
- Drive loan origination activity by deepening existing client relationships and supporting new client acquisition
- Coordinate syndication processes and manage multiple internal and external workstreams
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience in corporate or syndicated loans
- Strong understanding of the full syndication lifecycle and ability to manage multiple deal workstreams concurrently
- Established exposure to the German market, highly beneficial
- Fluent German speaker
- Strong communication skills and confidence in a client-facing role
