Fantastic opportunity for a Corporate or Finance Lawyer to join the legal function of a fast-paced digital assets platform.

Responsibilities

  • Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including client agreements, trading agreements, vendor agreements, technology agreements and non-disclosure agreements.
  • Support with M&A transactions, including due diligence, transaction documentation, and post-completion integration.
  • Support licensing and regulatory change projects.
  • Provide legal advice that supports the design and implementation of new products.
  • Advise on the regulatory aspects of cross-border client and counterparty relationships.
  • Monitor and advise on regulatory developments that may impact the business strategy.
  • Advise on corporate and governance matters.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Qualified as a lawyer to practice in the UK or similar qualification.
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience in corporate or finance law.
  • Experience reviewing and drafting contracts.
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment, often with a high level of ambiguity and change.
  • Experience gained both in established as well as high-growth or start-up companies would be advantageous, but is not necessary.
  • Experience in financial services, ideally in a trading or execution business.
