Java Full Stack Developer | 12-Month Contract
Location: Glasgow (onsite)

We're looking for an experienced Java Full Stack Developer for a 12-month contract building scalable, cloud-native enterprise applications in an agile team.
What you'll be doing
- Designing and building full stack applications with Java, Spring Boot and React or Angular
- Developing secure, scalable microservices and REST APIs
- Working with cloud-native technologies on AWS
- Collaborating with architects, BAs and stakeholders
- Code reviews, testing, performance tuning and production support
What you'll need
- Strong Java 17+ and Spring Boot experience
- AWS
- Kafka
- Docker and Kubernetes
- SQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL or MySQL)
- CI/CD (Git, Jenkins) and monitoring/observability tools
Nice to have
- Banking or financial services experience
