Job Description
Our client, a well-established and forward-thinking financial services organisation, is seeking a Facilities Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day running of their offices.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Facilities professional to take a step up and take ownership of operations, support the wider Facilities function, and ensure safe, well-presented, and efficient workplaces for staff and visitors.
The Role
Reporting to the Head of Facilities, the Facilities Supervisor will be responsible for supervising a small team and supporting the smooth delivery of facilities operations across an office portfolio. This includes day-to-day maintenance, health & safety compliance, coordinating contractors, and assisting with projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day facilities operations across office portfolio, acting as the main point of contact for issues and escalation.
- Carry out regular site inspections
- Support in managing security systems, office services, and workplace standards.
- Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance
- Coordinate office moves, refurbishments, and facilities projects in collaboration with senior colleagues.
- Oversee contractors and service providers
- Monitor facilities budgets, highlighting cost-saving opportunities and ensuring value for money.
- Communicate effectively with staff and stakeholders, supporting a positive facilities experience.
About You
- Experience in a Facilities role, ideally with supervisory responsibilities.
- Experience coordinating contractors and managing service delivery.
- Knowledge of health & safety processes and compliance requirements.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Flexible, proactive, and confident working both independently and as part of a team.
- Professional membership of IWFM, IOSH Managing Safely, or knowledge of M&E systems/DSE assessments would be advantageous.
