Our client is an established interdealer-broker boutique which arranges and executes trades on behalf of institutional clients (banks, hedge funds) in the equity derivatives listed and OTC space. They are a top player in their market and are looking to strengthen their team with the right middle office trading support experience. The middle office role would be assisting brokers in their daily activities, working to ensure the trading process runs smoothly.

Key responsibilities:

  • Confirming trades
  • Communicating prices
  • Booking trades on internal systems
  • Managing trade settlement
  • Tracking market data, updating internal records
  • Updating client information
  • Producing end of day recaps or custom-made insights for clients
  • Crossing pre-arranged trades on the markets

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a middle office role at a Broker or a Bank, preferably at least three years
  • Good knowledge of equity derivatives
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Eager to learn

  • Numerate
  • Being able to deliver in an often fast-paced, pressurised environment
  • Proficient with Excel (VBA and/or Python would be a plus)
