Our Client is seeking a Claims Specialist to join their growing Delegated Authority Claims team. This role involves overseeing delegated claims partnerships, ensuring compliance, and providing technical claims handling support across Financial Lines, Property, and Casualty classes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with delegated claims best practices, SLAs, and governance frameworks.
  • Support oversight of delegated claims partnerships across UK & MENA.
  • Handle claims referrals and manage authority levels up to $500k.
  • Assist in performance measurement, internal audits, and risk control.
  • Support onboarding of new Delegated Claims Administrators (DCAs).
  • Build relationships with Coverholders, DCAs, brokers, and internal teams.
  • Act as a key contact for customer and DCA complaints.
  • Contribute to the centralisation of UK & MENA delegated claims oversight.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: 2-3 years of London Market claims experience, ideally in Financial Lines. UK P&C exposure is a plus.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of claims handling procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Decision-Making: Comfortable managing claims referrals and authority levels up to $500k.
  • Communication & Relationship Management: Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong audit, negotiation, and claims performance skills.
  • Professional Development: ACII qualified or working towards it.
  • Flexibility: Hybrid working model (3 days in-office, flexible week-by-week).

The exciting aspect of this role is the opportunity to handle a diverse range of Financial Lines claims, including PI, Crime, and D&O, providing exposure to various areas. Additionally, you'll work on other lines covered within our clients' DA book.
