We’re working with a leading employee benefits consultancy seeking to appoint a Data Analyst to their specialist pensions data team. The role

  • Supporting data migration and remediation projects across DB/DC pension schemes
  • Preparing and validating complex datasets for scheme implementations and transitions
  • Configuring pensions systems and ensuring accurate scheme rules are applied
  • Producing detailed reports and analysis to support consultants and project managers
  • Liaising with clients and providers to resolve technical queries and ensure smooth project delivery
  • Mentoring junior analysts and contributing to best practice within the data team

What you’ll bring

Our client is looking for someone with a strong background in pensions administration and data analysis, ideally with exposure to large‑scale migration and implementation projects. Specifically, you’ll be able to demonstrate:

  • A proven track record working across DB/DC pensions schemes, with knowledge of CARE and annuities
  • Hands‑on experience in data migration, mapping, and system configuration (HartLink, UPM, Civica or similar)
  • Advanced Excel skills, with SQL or other programming experience highly desirable
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail in everything you produce
  • The ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with clients, colleagues, and providers

Desirable:

  • Experience mentoring or supporting junior colleagues
  • Exposure to project delivery environments and pensions system implementations
