A leading Investment Bank is building out their Technology Audit team. This position sits within a high performing global Internal Audit function that provides independent assurance over technology and information security risks across Global Markets.
What they are looking for:
- Experience in Technology Internal Audit with coverage that aligns to trading environments.
- Any exposure to Global Markets or Investment Banking is considered essential given the audit activity across algorithmic trading and related platforms.
- Open to candidates from Technology External Audit if they can clearly articulate risk and controls, though an Internal Audit background is preferred.
- Someone who can help build deeper SME capability in areas such as trading technology, engineering, cloud, cybersecurity and data.
- The role supports audits across Global Markets technology including algorithmic trading, pricing, market data, connectivity and electronic trading platforms.
- Experience with Bloomberg, Fidessa, FXAll and Algo Trading will be considered advantageous.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of a risk based audit plan across Global Markets technology by assessing the design and effectiveness of controls, identifying risks and producing high quality audit work.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the function to deliver audit work aligned to standards, methodology and regulatory expectations.
- Communicate key findings and recommendations clearly to senior stakeholders and contribute to the continuous improvement of the control environment.
- Maintain strong awareness of emerging technologies, market infrastructure changes and industry regulations relevant to trading technology.
- Take ownership of areas of responsibility and contribute to a culture of technical excellence within the team.
