I am currently partnering with a number of leading asset managers who are looking to hire Fixed Income Performance/ Attribution professionals across multiple levels, from Analyst through to Senior Analyst and Associate level.
These positions sit within high-profile Performance & Attribution teams and offer exposure to portfolio managers, investment specialists, client teams, and senior stakeholders across the business. The roles are ideal for candidates with experience in performance measurement, fixed income attribution, benchmark analysis, investment analytics, and client reporting who are looking to develop their careers within sophisticated institutional investment environments.
- Calculating, validating, and analysing portfolio, benchmark, composite, and fund performance
- Producing and interpreting fixed income attribution and contribution analysis
- Investigating performance anomalies and resolving data quality issues
- Supporting portfolio managers, investment teams, sales, and client-facing stakeholders with performance-related insights
- Preparing client reporting, fund characteristics, risk, and performance analytics
- Supporting RFPs, due diligence questionnaires, and ad hoc client requests
- Partnering with investment operations and data teams to ensure the integrity of portfolio and benchmark data
- Presenting performance and attribution analysis to investment professionals and senior stakeholders
- Supporting GIPS compliance, verification exercises, and performance governance activities
Experience within investment performance, performance measurement, attribution, investment analytics:
- Knowledge of fixed income benchmarks and performance measurement concepts
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with systems such as FactSet, Bloomberg, BI-SAM B-One, Aladdin, or similar platforms
- Ability to communicate complex analysis to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience working with large datasets and performance reporting processes
CFA, CIPM, IMC, or progress towards relevant professional qualifications:
- Exposure to SQL, Python, Alteryx, TOAD, Power BI, or other data visualisation and analytics tools
The successful candidates will combine strong technical performance expertise with excellent stakeholder management skills and a genuine interest in understanding the drivers of fixed income returns and portfolio outcomes.
