Are you an experienced Political Violence & Terrorism Underwriter ready to take the next step and shape the direction of an established but fast-growing MGA? We’re working with a heralded MGA & Syndicate with a strong reputation across frontier and developing markets, who are looking for a Senior Underwriter to drive growth and profitability within their PVT portfolio.
In this role, you’ll work closely with the Head of Line to execute the business plan, manage broker and client relationships, and identify new opportunities across key international territories (particularly MENA). You’ll have the autonomy to underwrite with precision, lead on complex risks, and play an integral role in the ongoing evolution of this high-performing class.
We’re looking for someone with:
- Extensive Lloyd’s / London Market experience within PVT, War, or Political Risk
- Strong technical underwriting discipline and commercial awareness
- Experience operating in or underwriting business from developing and frontier markets
- Excellent broker and client relationship management skills
- The ability to mentor junior team members and lead by example
- A collaborative mindset and appetite to help shape strategy and growth
