Our client, a leading alternative investment manager specialising in private credit, real assets, and hedge fund strategies, is seeking a Business Analyst to join their dynamic and growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting strategic initiatives, driving operational efficiency, and enhancing the firm’s investment platforms and data capabilities. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders across investment, operations, risk, and technology functions to deliver impactful business solutions.
Responsibilities
- Partner with investment and operations teams to gather, analyse, and document business requirements for process and system enhancements.
 - Translate complex business needs into functional specifications for technology teams.
 - Support the design and implementation of investment management systems, data workflows, and reporting tools.
 - Conduct business process reviews, identify opportunities for automation and efficiency, and support implementation.
 - Coordinate testing, user training, and post-deployment validation for new system features or process changes.
 - Produce clear documentation and communicate project updates to senior stakeholders.
 
Qualifications
- 3–5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst within investment management, asset management, or alternative investments.
 - An understanding of investment products such as private equity, private debt, or private equity.
 - Proven ability to capture business requirements, define user stories, and deliver end-to-end solutions.
 - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
 - Experience with investment systems and data management tools desirable.
 - Strong Excel and SQL skills a plus.
